William F. Wolf is a Partner in Squar Milner’s Tax Department. Bill is responsible for the delivery of tax and accounting services to a broad array of business enterprises and high net worth individuals. He also serves as a litigation consultant in tax and accounting matters and performs due diligence and fraud investigations.

Bill has had extensive experience in all aspects of income taxation including tax planning related to the sale of an asset. In addition, he is knowledgeable in leading edge estate planning techniques. He is a seasoned business manager with particular skills in projecting future operations, analysis of investment opportunities and obtaining financing. He regularly advises on how to improve operating efficiency and profitability.

Bill also serves as an expert witness giving testimony on accountant’s negligence, fraud claims, analysis of lost profits, partnership allocation issues, estate tax matters, business valuations, effective tax rates, fraud claims, and other issues. He has testified in California Superior Court, U.S. District Court and U.S. Court of Federal Claims. He has also served as court appointed referee on accounting matters.

Business Experience

Prior to joining Squar, Milner, Peterson, Miranda & Williamson, LLP, Bill was a senior partner at White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna, Wolf & Hunt, LLP. During his fourteen years with the firm, he was partner in charge of the Tax and Accounting Division. Prior to joining White, Zuckerman, Warsavsky, Luna, Wolf & Hunt, LLP, Bill was a partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers. During his twenty years there, he dealt with a wide variety of businesses, working in both the audit and tax departments and participating in the firm’s specialized industry groups for real estate, financial institutions, and non-profits.
